March of the Goblins gives Diablo 4 players plenty to chase during Season 15, from crafting materials and Runes to Murmuring Obols and valuable D4 items. The event spreads Treasure Goblins across Sanctuary and adds a reputation track with rewards that make later hunts more productive. If you're short on time, don't start by riding in circles. A little preparation can make each goblin you find worth more.

Get the reputation rewards first

Visit the Altar of the Goblin in western Kyovashad to check the ten-rank event track. Goblin kills advance it, and ranks 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 each add a stacking improvement to bonus Treasure Bag drops. The gifts are useful, too: you'll pick up Gold, materials, Obols, Gem Fragments, and Runes along the way. Rank 9 brings Legendary gear and Temper Manuals. At rank 10, Fedric's Masterpiece contains a Resplendent Spark and Runes, while the Regalia of the Sacred Creed adds a cosmetic reward for your mount.

Try Infernal Hordes for quick progress

An Aether Goblin Chaos Wave in Infernal Hordes can push your reputation from rank 1 to rank 10 in a single run. You're still relying on the right wave appearing, though, so it isn't something to count on every time. To improve your odds, unlock War Plans after completing the Lord of Hatred campaign and speak with Tyrael in Temis. In the Infernal Hordes tree, follow the middle path to Total Chaos. It makes Chaos Waves more common, but you'll have one fewer Infernal Offering choice per wave.

Make your overworld route count

Before heading out, consider turning off Cross-Network Play from the character selection options. You may encounter fewer competing players, though this also limits matchmaking. Subo can help you spot nearby enemies and resources, so bring him along if he's available. In Skovos, start at Celestia and circle Akarat's Bulwark, Shepherd Hills, and Observatory Approach. In Nahantu, ride south from Samuk through Five Hills and Reflection's Edge, then east toward Restless Canopy and Duzagloom Jungle. Base game players can try northern Scosglen around Marowen. Open the full map regularly: a distant goblin icon is easy to miss on the small map, and a pin gives you a direct route.

Turn dungeons into another hunting ground

Nightmare Dungeon War Plans offer a change of pace when you've had enough riding. Goblinfall gives goblins a chance to drop Sigils with the Treasure Breach affix, while Altar of Avarice lets you summon more goblins after elite kills. Greed is Good can open a portal to the Goblin's Retreat, where The Grand Hoard holds treasure, more goblins, and Aurix, The Hoard Eater. There's a curious cow statue inside, too. Players looking for D4 items buy options can still make good use of these runs for materials and event rewards.
